The Road to Wildly Human

Why We Chose Aguadilla
We wanted ocean, space, adventure—and somewhere that didn’t feel like everyone else’s vacation.
The right home for Wildly Human needed more than a beautiful view. It needed room for big dinners and long conversations, space to disappear for an hour without actually going anywhere, and enough nearby adventure to keep the week from becoming six straight days of sitting beautifully beside a pool.
Aguadilla checked every box—and then added a cliff.
Our villa sits above the ocean with wide-open sunset views, an infinity pool, generous gathering spaces, and stairs leading down for snorkeling and ocean access. There’s room to come together when you want company and plenty of places to wander off when you’ve temporarily reached your limit on humans.
Beyond the villa, Puerto Rico’s northwest coast gives us beaches, local food, ocean adventures, nearby Rincón, and plenty to explore. Aguadilla Airport is also close by, making it easier to arrive, settle in, and begin forgetting what day it is.
Aguadilla feels relaxed without feeling sleepy, adventurous without being exhausting, and beautiful without trying too hard. It doesn’t simply give Wildly Human a backdrop—it becomes part of the experience.

Getting to Aguadilla
Two airports, a few good options, and no need to make it complicated.
Our villa is located in Aguadilla, making Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) the closest and simplest place to fly. It’s a smaller airport, so routes are more limited and a connection may be necessary—but once you land, you’ll only have a short drive before the retreat can officially begin.
For guests traveling from New England, Avelo has announced nonstop service from New Haven (HVN) to Aguadilla beginning in November 2026. Because airline schedules have a habit of changing when nobody asked them to, please confirm the available dates directly with the airline before making your plans.
San Juan Airport (SJU) is also an option and generally offers the widest selection of flights. From SJU, allow approximately two hours—or a little longer with traffic—to reach Aguadilla by rental car or prearranged private transportation.
Airfare and arrival transportation are not included, allowing everyone to choose the flights, schedule, and transportation option that work best for them. Registered guests will receive the villa’s exact address along with current recommendations for rental cars, private drivers, and local transportation.

Getting Back to Home Sweet Home
We’ll help you plan the route—even though everyone may be traveling a different one.
Our time at the villa wraps up with checkout at 10:00 AM. Because guests may be departing at different times and from different airports, return transportation is not included and should be arranged individually.
That doesn’t mean you’ll be left to figure it all out alone. We’ll provide the villa’s exact address, transportation recommendations, and guidance for getting to both Aguadilla Airport (BQN) and San Juan Airport (SJU). If guests have similar flight schedules, we can also help connect anyone who would like to coordinate a shared ride.
Once your plans are in place, you can forget about the logistics and enjoy the week. We’ll make sure you have the information you need when it’s time to head home.
